I’m Fiona Storey a personal trainer and wellbeing coach based in Edinburgh and East Lothian.

 

With a  holistic approach to fitness that focuses on strength training, yoga and meditation. I offer one to one coaching to help you achieve optimal wellness both physically and mentally at your own pace.

 

I have created this space to connect with you and help you to connect with all things health, fitness and wellbeing and we will work together to incorporate fitness and wellbeing into your lifestyle in a way that works for you.

I’ve always had a very keen interest in exercise & fitness, particularly how it benefits our mental health and wellbeing. After studying yoga in India in 2009, I decided to study Anatomy & Physiology, which lead me to gain my personal training qualification. Then taking my passion and experience as a mother I worked to gain my qualifications in Pre & Post natal training and trauma informed Yoga. Both of which have a strong focus on mental health and wellbeing, through movement and breath work.

 

My intention is to give my clients the gift of time, time for feeling physically stronger & energised,  helping to shift their mood and leave with a sense of physical and mental wellbeing.

Through an initial consultation we establish what your goals are and then tailor the session to suit. Incorporating weight based, core and resistance exercises and yoga movement. Each session ends with a relaxation wind down and meditation.

 

Training outdoors by the beach offers the added benefit of varying terrain, sights and sounds that cannot be replicated in a gym. Visual distraction decreases our rate of perceived exertion allowing us to train better and for longer periods of time. It also promotes a sense of connectedness and focus
